This time of the year we are asked this question several times a day. In most cases the customers air condtioner is cooling, just not enough. That brings the next question, what is enough. On most RV air conditioners the output (cold) air should be around 20 degrees cooler than the input (return) air. To better explain this, if the temperature inside your RV is 95 degrees the air conditioner will produce approximatly 75 degree air. This of course will drop as the interior of the RV cools. Most problems that we see are due to lack of air flow (dirty filters) or due to not understanding how to use the air conditioner. When running the A/C you should always keep the fan speed on high and keep the thermostat set to where the compressor can cycle. On very hot days this may mean setting the thermostat at 75-77 degrees. If you have any other questions,
